Boston Police have yet to release the name of the 24-year-old man found dead at School and Arcadia streets.
Another man, also 24, was found wounded at the same location. He survived.
Police, citing the incident as an active homicide investigation, released few details on Wednesday. However, police did say the incident likely began at the rear of 6-8 Ernst St., which is about two blocks from where the victims were found.
One neighbor who lives near School and Arcadia streets said he heard no shots that night. He said police on the scene told him there were no shell casings found at School and Arcadia and that the incident began near the fire station at 1870 Columbus Ave. The station is very close to Ernst Street.
