It’s First Thursday again, which means shops, restaurants and galleries all along Centre/South will be hosting the work of local artists.
The event, guaranteed to be lively even if the anticipated rain doesn’t let up, runs from 5-9 p.m. on Thursday, June 5.
Here’s your map to the festivities, showing the more than 40 venues that will be taking part in the evening, which is organized by JP Centre/South Main Streets. As in previous First Thursdays this year, a “cash mob” will be conducted at one of the district’s businesses. The idea is simple: Residents come to the store armed with $10 or $20 or more to spend, giving a boost to one of the community’s shops. This month the beneficiary is Kitchenwitch at 671 Centre St. The cash mob begins at 7:30 p.m.
