Street robbers punched a man and took his wallet, $275 cash, cell phone and green Nike “LeBron” sneakers.
According to a police report, the man was walking home at 12:20 a.m. Saturday. He was at 2 Mark St. in Hyde Square when two men “placed an object to his back” and hit him in the face, the victim told police.
The robbers told their victim not to move. After the robbery, the victim reported staying still for five or 10 seconds before looking back and seeing that one robber wore a dark hoodie and the other a dark jacket. They ran up Day toward Arcola. The victim decided not to be treated by paramedics.
