Welcome to a “Wake Up The Earth 2014” edition of the Morning Memo.

Partly Cloudy and High of 67 For Wake Up The Earth: The Weather Channel predicts nice weather for JP’s official end-of-winter-hibernation party, Wake Up The Earth. The festival runs from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday along the Southwest Corridor Park between Boylston and New Minton streets. There will be live music, dance and theater, yummy food, community group info tables and vendors selling crafts and the like.

Here’s Your Map of the Festival: You can download the map from our post, the Spontaneous Celebrations web site or look for it in the most recent Gazette.

Parade Starts in Egleston: For the second year in a row, the Wake Up The Earth Parade kicks off from Egleston. The parade leaves the Egleston YMCA at 11 a.m. Here are all the details.

It should be a great day! Hope to see you at the festival.
