Buenos días, JP. Here’s your morning update for Tuesday, Feb. 25.
Lager lovers rejoice! As of Monday, James’s Gate was among the Massachusetts bars serving Yuengling on draft again. It’s been 20 years since the Pennsylvania brewery’s wares were sold here. And come next Monday, Yuengling will be available in packies.
If you’d like to serve on the JP Neighborhood Council, there are three seats open representing “Area A” (see attached map — it’s roughly South Huntington, Hyde Square, Jackson Square and Egleston Square.) You can put yourself forward at tonight’s meeting of the volunteer advisory board. Here’s the agenda for the meeting, which starts at 7 p.m. at Farnsworth House, 90 South St.
One of JP’s many nonprofits got some nice coverage in the Globe recently. Bikes Not Bombs sent more than 500 bikes and spare parts to Ghana.
